About Us
What is a good financial advisor? Truth is, the person who advises you on financial matters must wear more than one hat in order to serve you for the long term. Fountainhead Wealth's Steve Raymond is one such individual. Part highly educated financial scholar, part coach, and part mentor to his clients, Steve is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional who takes your finances personally, always putting your goals and needs first.
Simply put, Mr. Raymond helps people manage their money both now and as they progress along life's path. "Taking charge of your finances is a process that unfolds over many years, but many times we see significant improvement in a very short period of time," he says. "It?'s a personal roadmap of sorts, examining where you are right now, where you want to be and how to get from here to there."
No matter whether your income is hefty or modest, Steve explains that financial planning is so much more than buying an investment or deciding on an insurance policy. "The numbers represent not just dollars, but people's lives, their hopes, dreams, and the legacy they someday leave behind. My job isn't to steer my clients toward particular products, but to ask the right questions and then offer workable strategies they can choose from. In that way, I become a partner as they go forward, checking up regularly and encouraging them along the way, whether it's retirement planning, college funding, tax planning, risk management or even cash management."
Steve earned a BA degree in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire, as well as an MS degree in Management Science and an MBA in Finance from the University of Miami, graduating at the top of his class. Steve sees his job as one of duty as well as giving back to his community, having served on civic and non-profit boards as well.
His accomplishments include:
* 2011 President of the Financial Planning Association of Northern California
* 2009 Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year
* Member and past board member of the Rotary Club of Sacramento
* 2011 Rotary International Family and Community Service Award
* Board member of The Playmakers
* Board member of the Relationship Skills Center
* Past board member of Junior Achievement of Sacramento
